At the end of June 2022 the Club welcomed children and staff from nearby Fernways School for an introduction to Lawn Bowls. It was a sunny day and the children arrived in two groups of 9 along with several members of staff. Six Club members were on hand to give basic tuition and everyone enjoyed the sessions. Thanks to teacher Matt from the school for organising the event and to all the members, staff and pupils for taking part! Hopefully this can be an annual event.
